Purchase a Home
SAFE Gift Card+ is a new service that gets you more for your money. Members can purchase digital gift cards directly from their SAFE accounts through Gift Card+ for brands they love and earn cash back. It’s quick, secure, and easy. You can use the cards for yourself or forward them as gifts.
Each merchant on the platform displays different offers, from 2% to 30% cashback. Purchase a gift card from any of the merchants and the percentage displayed is how much cash back you will earn upon purchase. Cash back will appear in your Gift Card+ wallet. Percentages offered by vendors can change daily.
From your SAFE accounts, choose the one you want to pay with when confirming your purchase. The funds will be debited from that account. You can also use your cash back in your Gift Card+ wallet to purchase other gift cards.
Gift cards are sent to the email address registered with your Online Banking profile. Occasionally the emails may find their way into a junk or spam folder or the promotions tab, so please check there if it didn’t arrive in your primary inbox. Additionally, you can access your purchased gift card under the wallet option in the SAFE Gift Card+ marketplace.
When you purchase a gift card, you will receive a percentage of your gift card value as cash back instantly. This cash back balance can be transferred to your checking or savings accounts immediately or used for another gift card purchase.
Cash back can be applied to purchases that are equal or less than your cash back balance. You cannot split the transaction between your cash back balance and account transfer.
If you would like to apply your cash back balance towards a purchase, you may redeem the balance to your account prior to making the purchase.
Your ability to transfer to a digital wallet is dependent on the merchant.
A gift card can be archived by selecting the card and then "Archive".
To receive personalized offers based on your transaction history, you must permit sharing your data by selecting the opt in option presented in the pop-up when first accessing the service.
Navigate to the right-hand menu within the experience by clicking on the ellipsis (…) and select Preferences to change opt in or out at any time.
