Sticker Contest Official Rules
PRIZES: On Monday, April 29, 2024, a committee of SAFE Credit Union (SAFE) employees will judge and determine first, second, and third place winners to receive $500, $300, and $100, respectively. Prize amounts to be deposited
directly into winners’ SAFE savings account, SAFE checking account, or disbursed by check to the recipient. Winners will be contacted by 5 p.m. (PT) Monday, April 29, 2024. Physical checks will be available for pickup at one of SAFE’s
20 branches starting on May 1, 2024 through Monday May 20, 2024 during branch regular service hours (M-F 10am-6pm, Sat 10am-2pm). All taxes on prizes are the sole responsibility of the winner(s). In the event of a tie, the winners will be
determined by random drawing of the tied entries conducted by the SAFE Credit Union Marketing Department.
HOW TO ENTER: There is no cost to enter or win. From 10 a.m. (PT) Monday, March 1, 2024 through 11:59 p.m. (PT) Sunday April 21, 2024, SAFE will accept entries for the Dream Big with SAFE Sticker Design Contest (Contest) at www.safecu.org/stickers.
Parent or guardian of entrants under the age of 16 must complete the online form with all required details and upload original artwork as a PDF or JPG. Entries will be judged by a committee of SAFE employees on adherence to theme, creativity,
uniqueness, and brand alignment.
ENTRY DEADLINES: All entries must be received by Sunday, April 21, 2024, at 11:59 p.m. (PT).
ELIGIBILITY: High school students who are California residents and attending a high school in one of the 13 counties within SAFE’s field of membership which includes Sacramento, Placer, El Dorado, Yolo, San Joaquin, Contra
Costa, Solano, Yuba, Sutter, Butte, Nevada, Alameda, and Amador. Artwork must be the artist’s original creation and shall not be copied or duplicated from previously published art, including photographs, clip art or electronic graphic
images. Photographs or photo manipulations will not be accepted. Copyrighted images are not eligible. A parent or guardian must enter on behalf of their high school student if the student is less than 16 years of age. Void where prohibited.
PRIZE CONDITIONS: In the event a SAFE representative determines, at his/her sole discretion based on his/her interpretation of these Official Rules, that an entrant is found to be ineligible, or if the entrant does not comply
with these Official Rules, the potential winner will be disqualified and an alternate winner will be determined. If the prize or prize notification is returned as undeliverable, this will result in disqualification, and an alternate winner
will be selected. Except where prohibited by law, the winner’s and their parent or guardian’s entry and acceptance of the prize constitutes permission for SAFE to use said winner’s name in all forms of media, in perpetuity,
without further compensation. Further, all winners’ parent or guardian must sign and return to SAFE a declaration of eligibility and liability publicity release. Failure to sign and return the release to SAFE as instructed and within
twenty (20) days of notification of winning, will result in the entrant’s disqualification.
NO LIABILITY: By entering and meeting eligibility for prizes, winners agree to comply with all Official Rules, as stated, and agree to release, discharge, indemnify and hold harmless SAFE and each of its respective officers, directors,
employees, representatives, and agents from and against any claims made by winners, entrants, or any other third parties, related in any way to the operation of this Contest as well as any other claims, damages, liability, injuries, or losses
to any person (including death) or property of any kind resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from acceptance, possession, misuse or use of any prize or participation in any Contest-related activity or participation in the
Contest.
CONTEST CONDITIONS: The Contest is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws. By participating, entrants and their participating entities agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of SAFE and waive
any right to claim ambiguity in the Contest or these Official Rules. SAFE will retain and use personal information collected from you when you enter this Contest solely for the purpose of processing your entry consistent with these Official
Rules and pursuant to all applicable federal and state privacy laws. SAFE is not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, undeliverable, or incomplete entries, whether due to system errors or failures, faulty transmissions or other telecommunications
malfunctions, entries not received resulting from any hardware or software failures of any kind, lost or unavailable network connections, failed, incomplete or garbled computer or telephone transmissions, typographical or system errors and
failures, technical malfunctions, or otherwise.
