  • Hector_Madueno_400px
Hector Madueno
Financial Wellness Manager, SAFE Credit Union
Hector Madueno is a highly dedicated and experienced financial education manager with a strong background in the credit union industry. With over 15 years of experience, Hector has demonstrated a profound commitment to empower individuals, families, and communities through financial literacy initiatives. His passion lies in bringing financial education to underserved communities, equipping them with the knowledge and tools needed to make informed financial decisions.

At SAFE, he leads initiatives to bring financial education to SAFE members and the community at large through workshops, webinars, and the Budget Cents simulation program that provides high school students with first-hand experience in the financial decisions they’ll make as adults.

When he is not leading the SAFE Financial Wellness team, Hector spends most of his time reading, eating food that he probably shouldn’t, and being the victim of his two children’s nefarious schemes.

  • Kurt Munch
Kurt Munch
Home Loan Consultant, SAFE Credit Union

Kurt is a committed educator and advocate for the SAFE members he serves. He is one of the few mortgage professionals who is a Certified Mortgage Professional Specialist through the CMPS Institute. With over 30 years of real estate experience and $1 billion in loans funded, Kurt has been fortunate to have the opportunity to work with thousands of homeowners, assisting them with their financing needs. He brings a wealth of experience, knowledge, and know-how to his clients. Kurt likes to meet members over coffee to get to know them on a personal basis. Building strong relationships helps him find the mortgage option that works best for his clients’ short- and long-term goals. His greatest strengths include his capacity to adapt to change, his strong communication skills, and his ability to identify potential issues up front to curtail surprises later.

Kurt enjoys playing with his sons and coaching their sports teams. The Denver native who graduated from San Diego University finds adventure on the slopes with a snowboard and on the waves with a surfboard.
