Hector Madueno
Financial Wellness & Community Development Manager, SAFE Credit Union
Hector Madueno is a highly dedicated and experienced financial education manager with a strong background in the credit union industry. With over 15 years of experience, Hector has demonstrated a profound commitment to empower individuals, families, and communities through financial literacy initiatives. His passion lies in bringing financial education to underserved communities, equipping them with the knowledge and tools needed to make informed financial decisions.

At SAFE, he leads initiatives to bring financial education to SAFE members and the community at large through workshops, webinars, and the Budget Cents simulation program that provides high school students with first-hand experience in the financial decisions they’ll make as adults.

When he is not leading the SAFE Financial Wellness & Community Development team, Hector spends most of his time reading, eating food that he probably shouldn’t, and being the victim of his two children’s nefarious schemes.
