In response to the mandatory evacuation orders impacting communities along the Feather River Basin in Butte, Sutter, and Yuba counties, SAFE Credit Union has taken steps to extend assistance to our employees and members.
SAFE employees who live in the affected region, or are hosting family or friends who have evacuated their homes, were encouraged to remain in a safe location until the situation stabilized and evacuation orders were lifted.
"The well-being of our employees and members during this emergency is our top priority," said SAFE President and CEO Dave Roughton. "We are working diligently to connect with them to determine how we can help."
SAFE has initiated outbound calls to members who live in communities within the evacuation zone to gauge what assistance they might need to mitigate financial hardships as a direct result of this emergency. Impacted members are requested to call (916) 979-7233 or (800) SEE-SAFE to
discuss options for their specific situation.
