FOLSOM, CA — SAFE Credit Union is proud to announce that Brian Allen Bedford has joined our Board of Directors.
Brian brings exceptional business leadership to the board. He is the dean of the Elk Grove Center, a campus within the Los Rios Community College District. Prior to that, he was the founding president and CEO of Align Capital Region. He is a tenured business
professor in the Los Rios Community College District, having taught business law and various other business management courses. Before teaching, Brian spent 13 years in the private sector at Intel Corp. and Apple. He’s a former professional
football player.
He serves as a board member of Lincoln Law School and Asian Resources Inc., and is a former board member of the Sacramento Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce and Align Capital Region.
Brian holds a bachelor’s degree, juris doctorate, and a master’s degree in business administration.
Brian joins the all-volunteer board that provides guidance and direction for SAFE Credit Union. The SAFE Board of Directors is charged with carrying out the mission of the credit union: to help members improve their financial well-being, provide excellent
service, and ensure a financially sound institution.
The board is made up of SAFE members who exhibit the leadership and knowledge needed to guide SAFE through opportunities and challenges. They collaborate with the SAFE CEO and staff in a constructive partnership to serve the financial needs of members
and set expectations for the utmost integrity in SAFE’s business practices and relationships with its member-owners.
