SAFE Credit Union created a unique – and affordable – way to showcase its dynamic financial education experts and promote free, community workshops on social media.

SAFE Credit Union awarded a total of $60,000 in emergency grants to four Sacramento-area nonprofits to support their efforts to provide emergency services to their clients and community in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Sacramento Mayor Darrell Steinberg, Vice-Mayor, Councilmember (District 3) Jeff Harris, Inside Sacramento, and SAFE Credit Union announced a new partnership today promoting the “Take the 100% Local Pledge” initiative, which helps Greater Sacramento-area residents identify and support businesses located in the region who have been impacted by the pandemic.

SAFE Credit Union donated $50,000 to help fund a multilingual hotline to provide information and resources for businesses impacted by COVID-19 in the Greater Sacramento region.

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, SAFE Credit Union is postponing its annual meeting originally scheduled for April 22, 2020, to help protect the health and safety of our members, staff, and volunteers.
